Acadia National Park to Offer Free Admission on Four Days in 2018

BAR HARBOR, MAINE—The National Park Service announced today that the public will be invited to experience all national parks, including Acadia National Park, without entrance fees, on four days in 2018. The 2018 entrance fee-free days are: ·

  • January 15: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day ·
  • April 21: First Day of National Park Week ·
  • September 22: National Public Lands Day ·
  • November 11: Veterans Day

"These free admission days are a like a limited time free trial offer...this is your chance to experience your national park and services in the neighboring communities and decide when you will come back in the future. Every season in Acadia has its own unique beauty and adventure." said Acadia Superintendent Kevin Schneider.
